Elevator Control Service, ELCON Enterprises, Inc. announces the acquisition of Traveler Elevator based in Jacksonville, FL. Founded in 2008, Traveler is the largest independent elevator company in Jacksonville.
Traveler’s founder and principal Mark DeWitt commented “Our entire team is excited to become part of the ELCON family. We received various attractive offers but ELCON’s package was the most appealing. Maven Group’s advice was crucial in helping us structure a unique deal that will benefit both parties”. Traveler’s president Jim Halstead added “We are thrilled to grow our presence across Northern Florida powered by ELCON’s know how and expertise.”
Over the past 48 years, Elevator Control Service has steadily grown to become one of the industry’s premier vertical transportation contractors signatory to the International Union of Elevator Constructors.
